Former heroine Ramya Krishna got elected to the Executive committee of the Movie Artistes Association, getting 292 votes in her favor. Rajiv Kanakala obtained 300 votes. AVS, who recently underwent liver transplantation, got 266 votes. Generally, only the prime posts like President and GS will have the focus in the association elections. But, this time the contest for the executive committee members also went on prestigious lines, inviting stiff fight on the sides.
