After Khaka Khaka, Surya and Gautam Menon came together again for a film produced by Oscar Ravichandran. The film is titled Vaaranam Aayiram. This film is getting dubbed into Telugu as Surya Son of Krishnan. Shoba Rani is getting this film dubbed for SVR Media banner. Audio of the film is already released in Tamil and will release in Telugu on 10th october. Surya plays dual role in the film as father and son. Sources say that this film draws inspirations from Forrest Gump but changed to suit the Indian nativity. Vaaranam Aayiram means the strength of Thousand Elephants. Some exciting fight sequences were shot in USA for this film. Sameera Reddy, Simran, Ramya and others are in the cast. Music is by Harris Jayraj.
