'Avakai Biryani's music is out

Music of Aavakai Biryani is launched today at Hotel Taj Deccan, Hyderabad. Produced by Sekhar Kammula and directed by Anish Kuruvilla, the film has Kamal Kamaraju and Bindhu Madhavi in the lead roles. Ramesh Prasad unveiled the audio cassette and presented the first number to producer Sekhar Kammul. It was more of a gathering by the film's cast and crew and very formal meet. Highlight of the function was that only 'Biryani' (9 types of Biryani) and Avakaya pickle were served apart from dessert. Sekhar Kammula and Anish shared their experiences and how their friendship began on this ocassion. A special video was also shown in which Kammula spoke about his association with Anish and how he looked handsome like a model before 'Godavari'. Sekhar said:"Today films with strong content are doing well. We have grasped that point and have been making them in similar fashion. Avakai Biryani has strong storyline which came from a noble thought." He also praised Anish. "He wanted me to be on the sets but I hardly go to the location as I wanted him to handled it independently and be the film his own. All my technicians and actors did wonderful job. I appreciate Bindu Madhavi for her ease and the fact that she is a Telugu girl it made me feel happy. Kamal Kamaraju after Godavari really graduated himself into a good actor." Anish went down the memory lane. "Avakai Biryani brings back the happy moments that we shared together. I met Sekhar Kammula in 1998 and asked him to join me as his assistant. After that our friendship grew, and he never treated me as a mere assistant. I learnt a lot from him. He felt that I can direct and gave this chance. I thank him for this. Manikanth Kadri's music is the soul to the movie. I didn't tell the scenes to my lyricists but gave the full script. He came up with beautiful verses. I take great pride in introducing the Telugu actors as the lead pair." Kamal Kamaraju said that he felt at home working with Telugu heroine Bindu Madhavi. "With Mumbai actresses, you can't spot the natural acting," he said. "I felt nervous when I got the opportunity. But they put me at ease and taught me. The music highly inspired me on the sets whenever I found it difficult during certain scenes."
