'Badri' combo to repeat after 8 years

Pawan Kalyan started his career with soft roles and boy next door kind of characters. He earned a mass image with ‘Badri’ the debut film for Puri Jagannath as director. Puri proved his mettle by portraying him as an action hero. The same Puri Jagannath is now ruling the Telugu film industry as an ace director. Though Puri Jagannath had directed many films in his career and Pawan Kalyan played hero in the direction of several other directors, the combination did not repeat so far. Fans of both the director and hero are eagerly awaiting a film in their combination. Their dreams are coming true very soon. A statement released to the media announced that Puri is going to direct his debut hero Pawan Kalyan for a film to be produced by popular comedian and Puri Jagannath’s friend Ganesh on the banner of Parameswara Art Creations. Puri Jagannath says, ‘I am very happy to do a film with Pawan Kalyan, who gave me a life as a director. Moreover, the producer of the film Ganesh is my best friend for the past 18 years. I am confident that he would earn a place among the top directors with this movie. The feel of working with Kalyan itself would give me the energy to pen a powerful story. The audiences could expect the energy of two stalwarts and definitely it would reach everyone’s expectations. More details would be announced very soon. The film would go to sets in 2009.’
