Victory Venkatesh said that he felt very much excited to be working with Kamal Hassan in the film Marmayogi. "I saw Dasavataram in Mumbai recently. I and Kamal met in a restaurant there and discussed about Marmayogi. Kamal also explained me in detail about my character. The movie has the backdrop of 7th Century AD," Venky said. "Kamal also suggested me come out of the local mold and tread the bigger wheel in the celluloid world," Venky observed.
