Heroines say no to hero Rajashekar

Hero Rajeshekar once himself confessed that all top actresses in Telugu are refusing to act with him. Rajashekar alleged that some big guys in the industry who are against him are spreading false stories about him. That is why no heroine is coming forward to co-star with me, he reasoned. Well the problem still continues. Though he is already working in two films that are under progress and has got good female leads in those movies, he is finding tough to get a good Telugu heroine. Sanjana has paired up with him in Satyameva Jayate and Bhoomika is the main lead in the remake of Malayalam movie Hello. Yet, when he approached a Telugu speaking actress for second lead for his Bhoomika starrer, she refused to do the movie. Later he approached another Hyderabad based Telugu actress to do the same, she too declined to act with him. He then came forward to give higher the remuneration than her normal price but she didn’t accept. Poor Rajashekar

Relatively made on a small scale budget, the movie broke the records and made a huge collection at a not-so-expected centre Eeshwar Theatre in Attapur. It still tops the charts from the list of Vijaya Dasami releases. A prominent reason could be that it is from the house of ‘Dil’ Raju, the one who people trusts will not fail to entertain them at any cost. One more fact is 'Dil' Raju holds the expertise in predicting, to what extent a subject chosen for his movie will entertain the audience and how far will it be successful.

‘I am not acting with Charmme’ – Devi Sri Prasad

Young music director Devi Sri Prasad announced to the press here on Thursday, that the news reports stating he is debuting as a hero opposite Charmme are completely false. He denies such reports and says that it is only music that he is in love with. "It is true that, some big production houses have approached me with proposals to act as a hero. But I am currently busy as a music director with prestigious films like 'King' with Nagarjuna, NTR & VV Vinayak's movie, 'Arya-2' with Allu Arjun, 'Current' with Sushanth. I am also busy scoring for the Telugu and Tamil versions of Vikraman’s 'Mallanna', 'Villu" (Tamil) with Vijay and few others." ‘I am working with determination to make them all hits. It is surprising to hear this news at this juncture. If I really get interested in acting, I would announce it myself. Even if I venture into acting my first preference will always be music,’ concludes the songster. The news that was ebbed just yesterday has demised into nothing from this report. It might be a counter action to save the names from those gossips that prevailed previously.

Pack-up to Bollywood

A proverb says, ‘Do what you are best at and leave the rest to others’. Now if read it seems it has been written for Teja. A popular niche was for him as a cameraman and it didn’t lag behind when he debuted as a director in ‘Chitram’. The super hit movie did bring applause for his creativity and exceptional skills in direction. The success boosted him as he went on to make movies based on love stories in his unique style. Time was good for Teja as those movies made it big and he became one of the acclaimed directors in the industry. But, luck is never static. The fame was short lived for the popular director. Socialites of the film fraternity have started bluntly saying that his name is deteriorating because he lacks creativity as a director. His recent dud ‘Keka’ stands tall depicting the verity in these comments. Consequently, acknowledging the times Teja announced that he will not direct any Telugu films in future, and will remain as a producer. Disappointed by 'Keka's flop, he is planning to produce a new film titled 'Flop'. The person to direct this movie has not been confirmed yet. Side by side, he has also started preparations to direct a Hindi movie. It seems the director frustrated at his failure in Tollywood is planning to take his first dip in Bollywood and test his luck. We have to wait for awhile and find out what’s in store for him in Bollywood.
