Ganakokila Padmabhushan P. Susheela is chosen to be the recipient of the honorable award ‘Pride of Indian Cinema 2008’. In a press meet held yesterday on 11th March, Vasiraju Prakasam, chairman of the award committee of Yuva Kalavauhini cultural association made the announcement to the media. The award is to be presented to P. Susheela in a function held today on 12th March evening at 5.30 PM at Ravindra Bharathi, Hyderabad. The grand award ceremony houses other awards for prominent personalities and the cultural program ‘Cine Sangeetha Vibhavari’ is organized to entertain the guests. Prominent personalities like Dr. Jayasudha, Kalabandhu T. Subbarami Reddy, and Central Minister Purandheswari will grace the occasion.
