For, the living music legend Bala Murali Krishna will be coming back to cinema after a gap of nearly 2 decades.
It will be really hard for anyone to have forgotten his memorable renditions ‘Padana Vani’ (Megha Sandhesham), ‘Salilitha Raga Sudharasa’ (Narthanashala), ‘Adi Anaadiyu’ (Bhaktha Prahlada), ‘Mouname Nee’ (Guppedu Manasu) and the like. Every composition of his was a feast for music lovers and it soothed the listeners.
The crusader and king of Carnatic Music, Bala Murali accented to untouchable heights but then went on to be at rest.
He has now sung a song for a Tamil film ‘Pasanga’, produced by Sasikumar of ‘Subramaniapuram’ fame. Bala Murali has voiced the song composed by music director James Vasanthan.
Preening about the marvelous feat, Vasanthan said, “The legendary songster agreed to sing after a gap of almost twenty years. I am very happy to have him sing in my composition which is a rare honor.”
We will have to wait to be gifted with a Telugu song in his voice and hope for the best to happen soon.
